MY THIRD STOCK DANIEL DEFENSE DDM4
72My mods for the DDM4
DDM4 with M203
The DDM4 with the m203 was quite simple. I put in a Matrix steel 6.03mm 407mm inner barrel. This was specifically to be used with a suppressor. I took the screws that hold the hand guard to the tube of the M203. slipped it off and painted it OD. I took the M203 and installed it onto the barrel which was easy even with the gun front wired. The barrel is flat on the bottom allowing you to turn the M203 sideways and slip it on. From there you just position the M203 which has a round piece that sticks out from the unit. This slides into the slip ring sprocket. I used the top rail from the real steel Tapco hand guard set and used it as the top rail which worked out great it allows the use of accessories as well as hiding the MOSFET switch. I put an SRC crane stock on it and a G27 pistol grip.
Killer B
My CQB gun is a master piece. The M4 lengnth barrel unscrews and leaves a 10.5 inch outer barrel. I new exactly what I wanted before I even bought it. As I said before because of licensing, only 400 of the Daniel Defense M4's were made. I now have 3 of them. They are made by Echo 1 and Socom gear. The new one I received yesterday and went to work on it. I ordered
a Matrix steel 6.03 290mm inner barrel as well as the one railed gas block. Everything fit perfect. I did my typical air seal ritual by taking the hop up spacer out and replacing it with the x spacer and shark red bucking from Madbull. I then took locktite and put it around the outside of the barrel, then I put the bucking on and lined it up. Remember the the nub of the bucking should give you a straight line across the bottom of the bucking If it is tilted in either direction your bb's will fly into never never land. Then I took a thin layer of locktite and applied it to the outside of the bucking, then slipped it into the hop chamber. Don't forget the brass ring that keeps the hopup straight on the barrel. Once that is done let it set for about 30 minutes. Make sure the c clamp locks into the grooves on both sides of the barrel. Now the exterior mods. I put the 290 mm 6.03mm inner barrel, new machined gas block. Tapco real steal polymer rails, Socom adjustable stock. CAA real steel mag clamps, As on all of my guns the real steel Larue tactical MK18 mounts for the red dot. I used the gun metal phantom flash suppressor. The entire gun is 29 inches. The advantages to the DDM4's is the 8 mm gearbox and the front M4 length barrel can be unscrewed. The Socom stock is adjustable. I prefer mine retracted because of the gear I wear. I am very happy the way this gun turned out. It is shooting around 430 -440 FPS.
DDM4
Ok this is the 3rd DDM4. This gun is air sealed just as the rest of my guns. It is shooting about 455 FPS. I have added a leapers front rail mount to attach my light and laser. It has the Tapco real steel hand guards. Real steel V grip, real steel Larue tactical QD release aimpoint mount. Once again I used the 6.03mm 370mm matrix steel inner barrel. I air sealed it in the same manner as my previous guns. I put an ICS crane stock a Diamond red dot scope. The great thing about these scopes is they are shock prove ( trust me I did a drop test). They are fog proof and are sealed to 80 feet under water. They come with anti glare multi-coated optics. 8 MOA red dot so you can get on target much faster.
Zombie killer M203
I slipped in pic of my JG with M203 grenade launcher. I used the madbull bucking and matrix steel 6.03mm 370mm tight bore inner barrel. I put a Phantom flash suppressor on it. This gun is shooting in the 460 FPS range. It has the G27 pistol grip and LE stock. I just used the metal top rail for mounting accessories. It also has an M203 leaf sight. It is wired to the back so no problem with wires. The battery fits right in the buffer tube of the gun. The gun is a bit heavy, but that is a testament to the fact they did not skimp on these guns. I put a 150 lumen taclight as well as a green laser. It also has an ICS leaf sight for the M203. I use the King Arms 120 bb Grenades.I put them around 350-390 FPS. These grenades are devastating if you have people camping. I painted the stock the grip all in dark earth so it really blends.

I fell in love with the DDM4 with M203 grenade launcher ; man the O.D. paint is perfectly balanced. It just looks mean in my book. Good stuff!
Is that a peq box on all of them or a real steel laser? I know you said you were fond of real steel parts for the asthetic value, that's why I ask.
Great article bro! :) That is some advanced equipment! The shock and water resistant scope on the DDM4 is impressive!

Unfortunately they are battery boxes. But I do have real steel laser units on them. They are quite handy in a CQB situation. Thanks for the compliment. They also have 150 Lumen real steel tac lights. The magic is inside though They have 6.03mm steel inner barrels. haha picked up about 50 FPS. Thanks again
