DIAMOND TACTICAL 30MM RED DOT SCOPE

The Diamond tactical red dot scope is full CNC machined aluminum. The finish is high quality anodized graphite color. The X and Y axis are fully adjustable with positive clicks. X axis one click equals 13mm at 100 meters and Y axis one click equal 10mm at 80 meters. The length is 130mm with a 30mm tube. It only weighs 7.1 ounces. The brightness adjustment also has positive clicks and goes from 0-7. It has a 8 MOA dot and the lens is ruby coated. The scope is waterproof to a phenomenal 80 feet. It comes with a cantilever mount which I am not fond of. I replaced the mounts with Larue tactical straight mounts. I use these on my airsoft guns but these could easily be used on the real steel. The lens construction is an elasto-polymer which means the lens is very hard to break and will stand up to airsoft applications as well as the shock of a real rifle. The fact that it is polymer means you can take hits on the lens and not worry about it shattering as other scopes that use glass lenses. The lens caps lock into place and are very good as opposed to other scopes on the market. The operating temperature is a generous -50 degrees F to 160 degrees F. It takes the CR 2032 battery which can be found at Walmart or most hardware stores. The battery will last 80 hours plus. I have 3 of these. This scope has served me well. The dot sounds big at 8 MOA as opposed to some red dot's that are 4 MOA but if you are looking for the fastest target acquisition, a larger dot is the best. The 2,3,4, MOA dots are best used with a magnifier. The distance of airsoft guns are from 50 - 70 meters, so you don't need a magnifier. Remember everything gets magnified that is why the smaller the dot the better. This 8 MOA scope is great for fast sighting capabilities. It is tough and will last for many years. I like the dial type brightness adjustment on the side of the scope body. I have had pure military versions that the brightness adjustment broke off in my hand. This scope is easily dialed in. The waterproofing means you can play in a light rain. One side note if you play in the rain cover your battery with a plastic bag, especially if it is a Lipo. The battery will explode if it gets wet. I am used to playing in the rain coming from the Philippines. It rains about 6 months out of the year. These scopes are a great advantage for me.
